South West Specialist medics are an approved QNUK Delivering centre and we can deliver the following courses either at our venue or in house at your place of employment for in house training please contact us.   Level 3 award in first aid at work (3 day course) The QNUK Level 3 Award in First aid at work provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to understand the roles and responsibilities of the First Aider, assess an incident, recognise signs and symptoms of injury and illness, assist a casualty who is suffering from a major injury or illness, chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis. The qualification enables learners to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) regulations and act as a First aider in the workplace. Successful learners will receive a certificate that outlines that the qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations. Level 3 award in peadiatric first aid (2 day course) The QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF) qualification is ideal for those working in an early year’s environment. Level 3 award in emergency peadiatric first aid (1 day course) The QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (QCF) qualification is ideal for new and expectant parents as well as others entering employment in an early year’s environment. Level 2 award in emergency first aid at work (1 day course) The QNUK Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) qualification meets the minimum requirement for workplace first aiders.  Level 2 cardiopulmonary resusitation and automated external defibrillation The QNUK Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation (QCF) provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to use an automated external defibrillator and perform CPR. This may be in addition to their role as a workplace first aid. Level 2 basic life support and safe use of automated external defribulator (AED) The QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (QCF) provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to use an automated external defibrillator and perform CPR.
